Important Notice

All special occasion gowns are made-to-order. Production timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. Customers are responsible for ordering in advance of their event.

In-Stock Items

Returns and exchanges are available only for in-stock items within 7 days of delivery. Refunds are not issued; approved returns are processed as store credit only.

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging intact.
  • If the requested exchange item is unavailable, store credit will be issued.
  • Accessories, jewelry, socks, bags, crowns, veils, headpieces, and marked final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Refused or undeliverable packages are subject to re-shipment fees.
  • Orders without customer response after 30 days may be considered abandoned and may require a $25 reactivation fee.
  • Unclaimed orders after 60 days are considered forfeited and are no longer eligible for shipment, refund, store credit, or reactivation.

Custom, Special Occasion & Bridal Dresses

Custom-made gowns—including flower girl, party, communion, bridal, and other special occasion dresses—are handcrafted to order with exceptional care. For this reason:

  • All custom, made-to-order, special occasion, and bridal dresses are final sale.
  • No returns, exchanges, cancellations, modifications, or refunds are permitted once the order has been placed.
  • Accurate measurements, size selection, color selection, and order details are the customer’s responsibility at checkout.
  • Extended sizes or custom fit orders will not begin production until all required measurements are received.
  • Alterations after delivery are not offered. Any desired post-delivery adjustments may be arranged with a local tailor at the customer’s discretion.

For bridal gowns, full measurements including bust, waist, hips, hollow-to-hem, and desired train length are required. Please contact us if you need measuring guidance before ordering.

Production & Timing

Every gown is handcrafted and completed according to its place in our production queue.

  • Standard production typically requires approximately 7–8 weeks before shipping.
  • During peak season (January–April), production may extend to approximately 8–10+ weeks.
  • All production and delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guarantees.
  • Orders are completed based on production queue placement, not event urgency.
  • Custom adjustments such as length modifications do not extend or reduce the production timeline; queue placement determines timing.

Event Date Responsibility

Customers are responsible for placing their order with sufficient time for production and delivery before their child’s special occasion or event date.

Kyli & Karter’s Kloset does not guarantee delivery by a specific date. We strongly encourage ordering well in advance, especially during busy seasons.

Expedited Requests

Expedited production is not guaranteed and will only be offered when we can confidently meet the requested timeline.

We do not accept rush fees or expedited payment unless fulfillment can be reasonably assured.

Damaged or Defective Items

We take quality seriously. If your order arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this window cannot be honored.

  • Email support@kyliandkarterskloset.com with clear photos and your order number.
  • Our team will review the claim and provide the next steps, if applicable.
  • Issues reported beyond 24 hours are ineligible for review or resolution.

Shipping Responsibilities

Delivery timelines are estimates. Carrier delays, customs delays, weather disruptions, and other transit interruptions are outside of our control.

  • Customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
  • Customers are responsible for responding promptly to address confirmation or shipping-related requests.
  • If no valid shipping information is provided within 30 days of order readiness, the order may be placed on hold and may require a $25 reactivation fee.
  • If no valid shipping information is provided within 60 days, the order is considered forfeited and is no longer eligible for shipment, refund, store credit, or reactivation.
  • Once shipped, delivery is the responsibility of the carrier.
  • Orders marked “delivered” by the carrier are not refundable. Missing package claims must be filed directly with the carrier.
